Little Bears Playhouse, Inc. is a non-profit childcare facility serving the families of Girdwood and the Four Valleys area of Alaska. We believe children need a positive self-concept, a safe healthy environment, and opportunities for self-discovery, socialization, and creativity.
Baby Toddlers
12-18 months
Baby Toddlers can be enrolled starting at 12 months of age. Before their first day you can come with them to get acquainted with the teachers, classmates and classroom environment.
Toddlers
19 months – 3 years
Toddlers are an age that requires lots of stimulating activities and attention. Younger children are provided smaller class sizes and age-appropriate activities to help them thrive.
Preschool
3 – 5 years
Preschoolers are encouraged to develop life skills through activities such as playing in the housekeeping area, reading books, role playing and working with other children.
